now gets a matchup against an Oakland Raiders secondary that is reeling. Look for Foles and the Eagles’ offense to have a field day in this game, which will put him easily inside the Top 10 at the position for the week.
Dak Prescott vs. Seattle Seahawks: With the return of Ezekiel Elliott to the Cowboys’ offense, a balance should return to both the passing and running games. I expect that the Seahawks will focus much of their defense on stopping the run game, which will open up coverage for Dak Prescott. He should be in store for a very good day against an injury-riddled Seahawks secondary. Look for a 275-yard, two-touchdown game from Prescott with him adding another 45 yards on the ground. Prescott could put together the type of effort in that helps bring home a Fantasy championship.
Running Backs

Dion Lewis vs. Buffalo Bills: Since the Patriots went to Dion Lewis as their lead back, he has consistently produced RB2 numbers or better each week. In championship week, he gets his most favorable matchup to date against a Bills defense that is the league’s worst in points allowed to opposing running backs. I expect Lewis to close in on 100 yards rushing in this game and do not be shocked to see him get into the end-zone twice.
Kerwynn Williams vs. New York Giants: Over the last three games, as the lead-rusher for the Cardinals, Kerwynn Williams has been a steady producer at the Flex position. He has just one touchdown on the year, but look for that to change in Week 16 against the Giants. He will once again be worthy of a start at the Flex spot, giving you 70 yards on the ground and a score in this game.
Wide Receivers
Robert Woods @ Tennessee Titans: After missing three games because of injury, Robert Woods picked up right where he left off last week with six catches and a score. In Week 16, Woods draws a favorable matchup against a poor Titans secondary that ranks in the bottom third in points allowed to the position. He should find a spot in your lineup as a WR2 during championship week and could finish the game with seven catches for 90 yards and a score.
Jamison Crowder vs. Denver Broncos: Since Week 8, Jamison Crowder has been one of the more consistent receivers in Fantasy. That could continue to be the case against the Denver Broncos in Week 16. The Broncos secondary is very tough on outside receivers, but playing out of the slot, look for Crowder to capitalize on the underneath routes in this game. He should give you a solid five-catch game for 70 yards and a possible trip to the end zone. That should make him a viable play as a low-end WR3/Flex play this week.
Tight End
Charles Clay @ New England Patriots: Charles Clay continues to be the more trusted target for Tyrod Taylor and in a matchup against the New England Patriots, you know the Bills will have to throw to stay in this game. Unless you have one of the top-tier options at the position, you’re streaming for points weekly. Consider Clay in Week 16 as he should see a healthy number of targets.
Kicker
Josh Lambo @ San Francisco 49ers: The Jacksonville Jaguars’ offense is firing on all cylinders over the last several weeks and in Week 16, they will be in San Francisco. It’s hard to imagine that Josh Lambo will not see plenty of opportunities to score in this matchup.
Defense
Kansas City Chiefs vs. Miami Dolphins: The Kansas City Chiefs’ defense is starting to pick up their play and with Jay Cutler traveling to Arrowhead in Week 16, odds are that he will revert to the Jay Cutler we all know and love, holding onto the ball too long for sacks, and turning over the ball a couple of times.
SIT ‘EM
Quarterbacks
Jameis Winston @ Carolina Panthers: Jameis Winston and this Tampa Bay team have all the looks of a team that has quit. Traveling to Carolina, and playing a stout Panthers defense makes Winston a hard to trust quarterback, especially in championship week.
Jimmy Garoppolo vs. Jacksonville Jaguars: Jimmy Garoppolo has been a hot hand over the last couple of weeks for owners that took the chance on him. But this week against the Jaguars defense will be his first real test. Can you place your trust in him in this matchup for your championship game? It’s very hard to do so. If you have a better option, which you should have as your still playing, go that way.
Running Backs
Marshawn Lynch @ Philadelphia Eagles: Although Marshawn Lynch has been very steady over the last few weeks, the matchup against a tough Eagles defense is enough to make you consider a better option for Week 16. If you have a better option to play at RB2, I would entertain that thought as you go for a title.
DeMarco Murray vs. Los Angeles Rams: DeMarco Murray has been a downright disappointment in 2017, as he has just one 100-yard performance on the season. He has more finishes outside the Top 24 than inside it. Starting Murray is truly a game of chance, one that I’m not willing to play with all the chips on the line.
Wide Receivers
Sterling Shepard @ Arizona Cardinals: Coming off a huge performance, many owners will be tempted to plug Sterling Shepard into their lineups. But don’t fall for the trap as he will draw coverage from Patrick Peterson in Week 16. He will be lucky to give you better than three catches in this game.
Jordy Nelson vs. Minnesota Vikings: Aaron Rodgers is back out of the lineup, which means that Jordy Nelson should again be out of your lineup for championship week.
Tight End
Jared Cook @ Philadelphia Eagles: If you’re in a spot in which you are considering Jared Cook at tight end to help win you a title, then I’m sorry. He is too inconsistent, and sometimes invisible in this offense. There are better longshot options out there that could give you value this week.
Kicker
Greg Zuerlein @ Tennessee Titans: In case you haven’t seen the news, Greg Zuerlein has now been placed on IR. Get him out of your lineups.
Defense
Seattle Seahawks @ Dallas Cowboys: The injury-riddled Seahawks’ defense has been playing on their heels for a few weeks now since Richard Sherman was knocked out for the year. This week they travel to Dallas, to face a Cowboys offense that is getting Ezekiel Elliott back from suspension. Needless to say, I would be looking for another defense to play this week, as the Seahawks offer very little value here.
