Day 14 of the delayed/cancelled NBA simulation season as it was originally scheduled:

On Day 14 of the NBA lockout season, Kevin Durant goes nova in the absence of Russell Westbrook while Carmelo and the Knicks are starting to get something rolling.

Charlotte Bobcats 89, Oklahoma City Thunder 96
The Thunder evened up their record at 4-4 win the win over Charlotte.  It was all Kevin Durant on this night as he scored 53 points to go along with 9 rebounds and 2 blocks.  Most of his damage was done from the field as he hit 22 field goals only 2 of which were three-pointers.  Russell Westbrook sat out the game due to injury.  His replacement at point guard, Eric Maynor, had only 4 points and 5 assists.  Corey Maggette had 22 points, but played very little defense on Durant.

Memphis Grizzlies 111, Sacramento Kings 100
Zach Randolph had 32 points and 14 rebounds while Mike Conley added 20 points and 12 assists in leading Memphis to its fourth win of the year.  Tyreke Evans and J.J. Hickson led the way for Sacramento combining for 41 points and 22 rebounds.

Dallas Mavericks 116, Golden State Warriors 102
The defending champs continue to roll along at 6-1 while the Mark Jackson era has gotten off to a rocky start in the Bay.  The Warriors fell to 2-6 with the loss.  Dirk Nowitzki scored 31 points and grabbed 11 rbounds to lead Dallas to a 53 percent shooting night.  Shawn Marion also posted a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds.  Rookie Klay Thompson scored 12 points for the Warriors in place of an injured Monta Ellis.  Stephen Curry led the team with 20 points and 6 assists.

Utah Jazz 107, New York Knicks 122
No defense needed again on this night for the Knicks as they racked up 122 points in the win.  Carmelo Anthony was the high man for New York with 35 points.  Landry Field added 19 points and 7 rebounds while rookie Iman Shumpert added 10 points and 2 steals.  Al Jefferson had 19 points and 3 blocks for Utah while rookie Alec Burks had 17 points and 3 rebounds.

Portland Trail Blazers 105, Philadelphia 76ers 91
Portland got just its second win of the year beating the Sixers by 14 at home.  Raymond Felton had the best game of his short Blazer career with 19 points and 11 steals to go with 4 steals.  The Blazers got to the line 17 more times than Philadelphia and were +16 in rebounding and +9 in turnovers.  Elton Brand and Andre Iguodala each scored 17 points in the loss.
