Analyst’s College Football Picks: WINNING!

Mr. Lee is an impressive 6-2 over the past two weeks and 7-4 overall on the 2012 college football season. This week, he’s got 3 more picks against the spread for Week 4 of NCAA college football, including West Virginia vs Maryland and UCLA vs Oregon State.

Georgia -16 vs. Vanderbilt
Georgia wins 87 percent of simulations with the average margin being nearly 19 points. That translates to the Dogs covering the line 56 percent of the time. Superstar linebacker Jarvis Jones is expected to play, and the Georgia defense continues to get players back from suspension. That defense is clearly the best unit on the field in this game having already shut down a more prolific Missouri offense on the road. Vanderbilt has played significantly better at home than on the road under James Franklin, and this game will be played between the hedges. The ‘Dores are also unsettled at quarterback, which is bad news going up against Jones and company. Last year Vandy allowed the five ranked teams it played to average 245 yards passing, and a completion percentage of nearly 60. Expect a big game for UGA QB Aaron Murray.
