AccuScore's Market Index rates every NFL team using only betting prices from sportsbooks and prediction markets, giving a pure read on where the market stands in Week 8 of the 2026 season.
The Jacksonville Jaguars sit at No. 1 with a rating of +5.73 points, ahead of the Seattle Seahawks (+5.02), Los Angeles Rams (+4.39), Buffalo Bills (+4.28) and Kansas City Chiefs (+3.77) to round out the top five.
Biggest Movers Since the Previous Poll
The New York Giants made the largest jump in the index, rising from rank 30 to rank 25. Their current rating stands at -2.86 points, up by a rating change of +1.74 since the previous poll — the biggest positive swing among the teams tracked.
On the other side, the Baltimore Ravens saw the sharpest drop, falling from rank 13 to 16. Their rating now reads +0.22 points, a change of -1.52 since the last poll.
Two teams climbed modestly: the San Francisco 49ers moved from 8th to 6th, with a rating of +3.59 and a change of +0.66. The Houston Texans rose from 9th to 7th, now rated +3.56 with a change of +0.98.
Meanwhile, the Cincinnati Bengals slipped from 6th to 8th, rated +3.12 with a change of -0.35, and the Detroit Lions dropped from 7th to 9th, rated +2.84 with the same -0.35 change.
Because the Market Index is built entirely from betting market prices, these shifts reflect how bettors and prediction markets have repriced each team's chances since the last update — not AccuScore's own season simulations. The Giants' +1.74 change is the standout number in this poll, marking the largest single rating move among the teams listed here.
